This quilt is probably my most rewarding so far. It had quite a bit of hand applique, which I enjoyed, and the piecing was challenging. It seemed to go on forever. I finished it in January of 2008. The pattern is Spring Beauty by The Rabbit Factory - yes, The Rabbit Factory!!
Oh I think it should stop over here first after all I still need to see it in person. However, much more snow where donna is!! Please post it soon Donna!
Oh, dear, now there are two people that want it, and I love you both, and can't choose which to send it to, so guess I'll have to keep it myself. My goal is to have it completed for the holiday season. Jacquie, here's a link to the embroidered blocks sewn together. http://s88.photobucket.com/albums/k161/dksdks/Works%20in%20Progress/?action=view¤t=redworksnowmen002.jpg
Dee, after I got home from the retreat, and saw the two borders I had sewn on, I decided the color of muslin that I got at the Buttonhole was different, so I took the borders off and cut new pieces from the stuff I had at home. It took a while, but wasn't too bad, but I haven't put the borders back together yet.
