DH and I got back from CA yesterday. We had gone down to spend a few days visiting his mother. On Sunday DH and I and my SIL and her husband went to San Francisco for the day. It had been a long time since we had been there. We went to Fisherman's Wharf, took a cable car ride, walked in Chinatown, and walked most of the way across the Golden Gate Bridge. It was a sunny day and we enjoyed every minute of it. At the Wharf, we had clam chowder in sour dough bread bowls, which is a requirement for us whenever we visit San Francisco. It's so yummy.

Would have loved to have been there. It's where I was born, but haven't been back in over 64 years. Maybe in my next life? Beautiful quilt!
ReplyDeleteYour quilt is beautiful as usual. I would love to start completing some of my UFO's and package kits that I have stashed away. I just can't seem to get in the swing. Love your SF pic as well. That is someplace I have always wanted to visit. Our family all lived in Southern CA so we never got that far north!
ReplyDeleteWay to go on the UFO. It's cute! I've been thinking about all my UFO's...but that's as far as I've gotten. I'm too busy starting new quilts. lol Love your pic with the bridge in the background. A whole new look at that bridge.
