More quilting from my past

Well, since I was pretty busy yesterday enjoying the sunshine and having DGC here, I thought I'd show you another quilt I completed in 2005. I think it was in 2004 that we went to an outdoor quilt show in Livermore, CA, and Jan Krentz was the featured quilter there. I loved this pattern, and she had some patterns and fabric for sale, so I purchased a few pieces of fabric and then added some of my own, to come up with this quilt. It is probably approximately 45-50 inches square. It was my first foray into using autumn colors, and now I am just addicted to them (well, most all colors!!). I have it on the back of our couch, and it has been a favorite of folks who have seen it. It obviously was not a very difficult pattern, but I love how it turned out.

  1. Love this pattern, especially the fall colors but it looks like you added applique so that rules it out for me. I love reading all your posts Donna~you are so creative.
    Have a great evening.

  2. At first look I thought it was Log Cabin but then saw it was the applique that was confusing me. It's very beautiful.
