I made this quilt for Project Linus. It was a great project. I used a bunch of charm squares that I had and cut them in half and put in the light-colored strips. It just totally changed the way it looked. I will want to do another one with the same idea.
On another note, today one of my DGDs and I made a new recipe - Cheddar Cauliflower Soup. It turned out so good! I love trying new recipes. Then continuing to play Betty Crocker, we made homemade butterscotch pudding for dessert. Man, oh man, does that put the pudding mixes to shame, and it wasn't hard to make. Ummm, good!

Progress is happening - but it is moving so slowly that I was a bit
disheartened when I laid my completed units out...Didn't I have more than

Love the quilt! I am making one similar to that out of scraps. Homemade is ALWAYS best!!!
ReplyDeleteLove how this quilt turned out. Your recipes sound good too. Have a great day.
ReplyDeleteWhat fun! I love trying new recipes too. Wish my granddaughter's were still young and living close to cook with me. The quilt looks great as well.
ReplyDeleteLove this pattern, I can see why you want to do another one.
ReplyDeleteThis quilt just glows. It is like looking through a window.
